Step One

* Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

* If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

* Surf around your friendslist (or friends friends, or just random journals, or holiday_wishes/wish_list) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

So, I'm having a bad day - my migraine is out of control and Emily is very cranky.

Therefore - I'd like to have a friendzy - I could use some new lj friends as well.

Just as my cheesecake came out of the oven, I remember that Todd had taken pictures of his car today and wanted me to email them to his mom.

Since my cheesecake has to cool before I can put it in the fridge (and go to bed), I thought I'd share with you all a picture of his spiffy new car.

I'm doing a friends cut - nothing against anyone I cut, I just don't have the time like I used to, to read lj.

Last night I thought I had killed the microwave while trying to make dinner. I heated it up in the oven, and left Todd a note. About midnight, I woke up, and Todd came into the room. Apparently I had just blown a fuse, and the circuit thingee is in our bedroom. So, I got up and talked to him for a bit.

We are poor, so I think I'm going to try and get a second job. Something I can work on Saturday and a couple nights a week.

Other than that, work was good today. Going out to eat with the co-workers was fun, and then in the afternoon there was cake, because it was someone's birthday. Though either the Taco Bell or the cake made me really sick once I got home, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do for supper.

Yes, I'm very late, but I just really started my Christmas shopping yesterday. Though I'm nearly finished since all I have to do is pick up a couple more things for Todd and I'm done.

I wanted to get Todd a DS, but I had some trouble finding any this morning. Wal-Mart, Game Spot and Target were all DS-less. But Target did have some Playstation 3's! That is a pretty sure sign that the PS3 isn't selling very good.

Todd did just point out that Blockbuster probably still has DS's, but I already spent waaay too much on him. I've gotten him two games (Marvel Alliances and Psychonots), and 4 discs of anime (1st disc of Burst Angel and 3 discs of Samuri Champloo). I'm going to get him a couple more things, but nothing super expensive.

Now I have to wrap presents and get the packages ready for family presents, so I can get them over to the UPS store, so there is some hope they will get them before Christmas.

We got the pictures we ordered for our families from our photographer today, and I thought some of you would be interested in seeing them.

We put down our deposit for our Disney honeymoon today! It seems so much more real now! We are really going to Disney!!

We are going to be there from September 28 to October 6th, staying at Port Orleans Riverside Resort!

I'm so excited!!
